We are looking for Jesus-loving young adults who are passionate about leading the next generation and having fun!

 

A summer on staff with Camp Vertical provides extensive leadership growth and development, as well as an opportunity to serve in a creative and fun environment where kids are invited to discover more about Jesus. Our summer staff is also an amazing community of believers who truly feel like family and love to have fun! available positions

Student Leaders in Training (SLTs)

SLTs are staff positions for people who have little to no camp leadership experience. SLTs have similar responsibilities as Camp Leaders, with added leadership development, which includes a seasoned staff mentor, and a learning community with other first-time staffers. 

​

 

15 years old by June 1 to apply as an SLT.

Camp Leaders

Leaders are responsible for building relationships with campers and connecting them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This role is present with campers all day and will participate in camp activities with campers.

 

You must be at least 15 years old by June 1 to apply for a paid staff position.

Key Leaders

Key Leaders are responsible for building relationships with campers and connecting them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They oversee campers, leaders, and volunteers in their assigned activity group, as well as ensuring the content for their activity group is relevant and engaging.

 

You must be at least 18 years old by June 1 to apply for this position.

Leadership Staff

Leadership staff serve behind the scenes of camp, assisting the rest of the Camp Vertical staff members. They liaison between activity groups and help with camp communication and needs.​

 

You must be at least 18 years old by June 1 to apply for leadership staff. 1 year of Summer Staff Experience Preferred.

Office Staff

Office Staff Members are present throughout the day to fulfill office and administrative needs, especially in regard to communication to and from parents.

All returning and new staff  will fill out the same application and go through the same interview process.

 

If you are 18 or older and interested in applying for a leadership position, make sure to check any position you are interested in, including Key Leading. You may be asked to come in for a brief leadership interview.
